Our Wedding

Nick and Daphne met five years ago during a late-night shift at work. Daphne, unaware that Nick was an employee—having just moved to town—gave him a weird look as he was clocking in. When she saw his face fully, she fell in love at first sight and screamed to her coworkers, "THAT'S A BEAUTIFUL MAN!"—all within earshot of Nick. For the next two years, they remained friends. Then on May 13, 2022, they started dating. Their love for each other grew stronger daily till February 24, 2024. Daphne thought they were just seeing friends, unknowing that Nick was preparing to propose. During a brief moment of obliviousness, Nick kept getting down on his knee that had a very fresh and sore tattoo. Daphne was then told to turn around by friends. As she turned around, she saw Nick down on his knee and a ring in his hand. This moment made her cry hysterically with tears of joy and of course...she said yes!

The Aloft Hotel offers complimentary airport transportation, but doesnt provide transportation to &amp; from the venue. If you have pets &amp; youre not able to make accommodations for them, Aloft lets your pets stay for free. The Aloft is twenty to twenty-five minute drive to &amp; from the venue (possibly more depending on traffic.)

Know for it's Spanish colonial architecture. St. Augustine is one of the oldest cities in the U.S. There are numerous things you can do while site seeing here. From going to museums, shopping, visiting the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, etc. Depending on where you'll be staying at in Jacksonville. St. Augustine ranges from 30 to a little over 50 miles away from Jacksonville, so if you plan on visiting St. Augustine, make it a day trip.

Believe it or not. Jacksonville is still warm in October, so why not visit the beach while you're here. Jacksonville Beach has multiple restaurants &amp; bars that you can check out as well.
